We’re looking for a Customer focused Assistant Manager with a strong attention to detail to join our successful team.
This is a full time permanent position that requires full flexibility for a 5/7 day working week.
The main objective is to assist the Store Manager with daily operations and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Oversee all store operations including opening, closing, paperwork compliance, cash management and stock management.
Ability to step into the senior role in the Store Managers absence.
Actively encourage, support and facilitate the growth and development of all colleagues and facilitate Training and Development of new and existing colleagues.
Assist the Store Manager in the role out of Accelerate training to new colleagues and refresher training to existing colleagues.
Fully competent and able to work on own initiative to provide answers directly to customers concerning the billing process, equipment, service plan upgrades, service and repair and any other customer service related queries.
Establish open and honest communication with all colleagues to create a positive work environment that will both motivate and inspire colleagues to exceed their individual goals and expectations.
Assist the store manager in setting targets and objectives for store colleagues and effectively communicate same to all store colleagues.
Provide leadership and teamwork designed to deliver an ideal experience to all customers all of the time.
Proactively assist in the recruitment and selection of new store colleagues and manage succession planning in the store.
Ensure full adherence to deadlines for responses ie orders, email requests for information, answering customer queries.
Be the systems champion in store and assist colleagues with queries.
Have the ability to take ownership of stocktakes and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Possess a good working knowledge of the Store P & L.
Ensure that all Store assets are secured safely at all times and that colleagues adhere to best practice.
Competent in completing a colleague roster ensuring compliance to best practice and labour targets.
Highly motivated and passionate about our brand.
Focussed on their professional progression within the company.
Possess strong leadership skills with a natural ability to develop store colleagues, and to take the lead in the store Managers absence.
Possess full operating knowledge of systems.
Possess a strong sense of Customer Service.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Ability to take ownership of customer queries and see them through to completion.
Ability to communicate with all company stakeholders from Senior Management to customers.
