There was a big surprise in store for the passengers of the 11.20 Airport Hopper service today at The Square Tallaght when the bus that came to pick them up was a 1966 bright red Routemaster.
The bus which was acquired by Dualway, who run the Airport Hopper service, at the end of last year and has been lovingly restored and is now used for promotional purposes.
The Bus first entered service in London in 1967 and since then has had a colourful past which saw it driving the streets of London and the roads of western Scotland before finding its way to Tallaght this morning!
The Airport Hoppper service runs regular buses to and from Dublin Airport 7 days a week and you can find full details about their timetables and fares etc on their website here.
