Our oceans, waterways and the delicate ecosystems that sustain life are essential to our planet.
Every creature plays a part in the natural world, and the more we understand, the more we can care. Small actions can make a big difference, from reducing waste to protecting wildlife and making sustainable choices. Let’s learn, explore and become champions for the natural world because protecting our planet starts with all of us.

SUSTAINABLE AQUARIUM SYSTEM
The Squarium, home to more than 1,000 sustainably bred aquatic creatures, contains 4,000 litres of water combined with unique filtration systems to ensure the right conditions for its inhabitants to thrive, while also supporting its surrounding live plant wall, resulting in minimal water replacement. A unique aquaponic system recirculates water from the aquarium to nourish the living plant wall, which helps filter the water for the tank in return creating an environmentally conscious, interconnected ecosystem.
CONSERVATION & REPOPULATING
The Squarium is managed by Dublin’s own aquarium and conservation specialists, Seahorse Aquarium. Trusted around the world to protect and conserve endangered sealife, you’ll recognise marine biologist Kealan Doyle as our SQuarium specialist.
