Our Community Champion Award this month goes to local man Antony Dempsey. Antony was the man behind the organisation of Mason’s Big Shopping Day here last week.
He also suffers with Cystic Fibrosis but is aware of just how important these events are for not just the sufferers of CF but also their families.
Antony travelled to Gorey to meet little Mason and his family and get them settled into their limo for their journey with Garda escort to The Square for their special day of fun and shopping. Antony has helped organise many events over the years and we would like to thank him for helping us make Mason’s day here so enjoyable.
Along with Antony’s award, Square Management presented a cheque for €3,000 to Cystic Fibrosis Ireland on behalf of Mason. Congratulations on the award Antony and thank you again for all the hard work you have put in to this event and all you do on behalf of Cystic Fibrosis.
