We were thrilled to welcome back the Easter Chicks ladies to the Centre again this year. The ladies knit all year to create egg cup covers to raise funds for the National Children’s Hospital, Tallaght, something they have been doing for over 10 years.
The chicks come in all colours, shapes and designs and cover an egg cup with a Cadbury chocolate egg inside. Each egg costs €4 each, with three for €10, which goes straight to the hospital to help buy much-needed equipment for the children. There are over 30 volunteers knitting for the great cause and they have a stand here in the Centre until Friday evening and over in the hospital too.
The ladies are located here on Level 2 opposite Dunnes Stores and Gerard’s Fashion store, so be sure to drop down and pick up some special presents for your own little ones!
