Today, marks a very special but also very sad day for the Centre as we say farewell to our Operations Manager Pat Edgeworth.

Pat joined the Square exactly 9 years ago as Operations Manager after many years of dedicated service to the Country and the Community in the An Garda Síochána. Pat came to the role with huge respect from many of the people of Tallaght and this allowed him to give the Centre a voice and credibility with the local community.

Pat has done a fantastic job throughout his time with us. The Centre has been through a lot of change and growth and Pat was pivotal in ensuring that disruption was mitigated to minimal and that tenants and customers were kept well informed and supported. Our policy of zero tolerance on anti-social behaviour was at the forefront of this growth and has made the Centre a warm, welcoming and safe environment for all of our visitors.

Many of the innovative initiatives that the Centre has achieved were instigated and managed by Pat, Zero landfill, Green Recycling, Eco Merit, Crime Prevention, Store Watch, being just a few of these.

Pat is dedicated, honest, driven and professional. He is a very humble man who never seeks the limelight or praise but we can honestly say, the Centre would not have achieved 7 years of continuous growth without him.

I am sure you will all join us in thanking Pat for his huge contribution to the Square and the people of Tallaght and wish him a long and enjoyable retirement.
