We are sure many of you have seen our posts remembering our great friend and colleague Ann Hogg , one of our amazing ladies from the Customer Service Desk. Ann was loved and respected by everyone in the Square having worked at the Customer Services Desk for 17 years. Ann sadly lost her long and brave battle with cancer and passed away peacefully on 28th November surrounded by her family and loved ones.
We thought it only fitting that we should remember Ann’s legacy in a way that she would deem fitting and reflect on all of the great work she did for the Centre and our Community.
On December the 14th & 15th we held an on-the-spot charity cycle over 2 days and we were thrilled to see so many of our staff eager to jump on and cycle for such a great cause, from our own management team to the cleaning and security staff at Noonans, InTallaght along with Ann’s loving son and daughter Russell and Wendy.
Over the two days along with our Go Fund-Me page for the Irish Cancer Society, we were overwhelmed with the donations received and would like to thank everyone who gave their time and donated to this great cause.
We are delighted to announce our final figure raised over the two days was an unbelievable €10,000. with all the funds going directly to the Irish Cancer Society who work tirelessly to raise much needed funding for this cause.
The Square would like to thank everyone who helped us raise funds in memory of Ann and in doing so show the true Community spirit of The Square, Tallaght its customers, staff, tenants and friends “.
